The School of Medicine’s Center for Clinical Sciences Research (CCSR) building
houses a total of 69 faculty, representing several different departments and interdepartmental
research themes.
The facility provides critically needed academic space for teaching and research
programs in Cancer, Immunology, Human Gene Therapy, Human Anatomy and other related programs.
Research specialties include molecular pharmacology, immunology, genetics, oncology, anatomy,
dermatology and bone marrow transplantation. The building’s inhabitants also include
representatives from the departments of pathology, radiation oncology and surgery.
ACCO detailed, fabricated and installed ductwork in conjunction with domestic
plumbing, process piping, electrical communication, and fire protection trades.
A complete Phoenix Controls supply and exhaust system with almost 500 valves
was installed with 100% duct pressure testing. Custom assemblies were designed and
built to allow for quick disconnecting and relocation of portable lab tables with internal
exhaust system.
