Hathaway Dinwiddie Construction chose ACCO as the mechanical contractor for this fast-track, high-tech data center. Located in El Segundo, AboveNet (MFN) provides data centers around the world.

ACCO worked with Flack and Kurtz on a design-assist basis to assure the project design and construction could be completed in a four month period. The project consisted of 3,350 tons of chilled water supplied to 62 computer room AC units (CRAC units) installed in 92,000 square feet of raised floor area.

This is an N+1 facility providing redundancy to assure uninterrupted cooling. ACCO's control division installed an ALC-DDC control system. In addition, the mechanical systems were installed under rigid seismic and structural requirements to hospital standards.
