late December of 2002 and it opened its doors, on schedule,
on June 25, 2003. This casino, located in the Sierra
foothills between Fresno and Yosemite, features 170,000
square feet of gaming and restaurant areas. These include
1,800 slot machines and 48 table games. There is even a
slot machine area that is a smoke-free environment.
The hotel, which opens in August of 2003, features 192
rooms with eight king suites and two presidential suites.
The main casino area is conditioned with 37 packaged
A/C units with heatwheels. PTAC (packaged terminal air
conditioning) units serve the hotel rooms. These are
vertical heat pumps.
The direct digital control system was designed,
furnished, and installed by the ACCO Controls Division
and are fully integrated with the package units. TAC is
the hardware platform used for the control’s system.
