| Dodger Stadium Remodel
Nestled in the hills overlooking downtown Los Angeles is the crown jewel of major
league baseball. Dodger Stadium. It has been the home of Dodger baseball since 1962.
In January 1999, the Dodgers announced a program of investment and limited
renovation to make the stadium more economically competitive with other
ballparks across the nation.
As a member of the renovation team, ACCO provided HVAC Design/Assist services
and installed the related mechanical equipment.
Each of the new luxury suites are served by a dedicated Carrier package heat
pump for complete flexibility in temperature control and energy usage. Custom-programmed
Carrier thermostats allow guests to enable the AC system for an 8 hour duration
with the push of a button. Additionally, they can adjust the temperature setpoints as desired
without worrying about accidental programming changes to the base program.
The stadium has maintained much of it’s original look, but with completion of the
renovation project, Dodger Stadium has more to offer, more seats, more amenities,
more restaurants and more comfort.
