A major asset of movie production companies is the original film of a movie or TV show. To store and protect this asset, it is critical to provide an environment which is maintained at temperatures and humidities as recommended by film and tape producers. To this end, ACCO has worked with Universal Studios to provide these environments for several storage facilities from tape storage to very critical archival film storage.

ACCO has designed and installed cooling systems for no less than four of Universal’s film storage facilities with design conditions as critical as 35 degrees with 25% relative humidity. It is imperative that the specified conditions are strictly maintained at the design conditions. ACCO also designed and installed DDC control systems to maintain, monitor and record the temperatures and humidity as well as provide alarms if conditions vary.
