Fairmont Hotel Remodel-San Francisco

Nineteen ninety-nine started a major three-year renovation of the historical nob-hill hotel in San Francisco. The design-build/design-assist project encompasses all aspects of the existing main public areas, including the venerable Tonga Room and all guest rooms, which were completely remodeled and upgraded to four-star status.

Part of ACCO’s scope was the overhaul of the buildings central plant, including a 500-ton centrifugal chiller, 600-ton absorption chiller, and matching cooling towers. All equipment included variable frequency drives (VFD)and DDC controls by Automated Logic/ACCO.
